Ashley Coates, Health Coach, works with individuals and their health histories, assisting with doctor prescribed and client-identified lifestyle changes to support wellness by optimizing health, preventing, or reversing, disease.
Ashley’s health coaching experience explores the areas of diet, health, physical activity, home cooking, relationships, home environment, social life, joy, spirituality, creativity, finances, career and education.
Ashley’s coaching technique uses a bio-individual approach, supports client-led changes, and addresses multidimensional health for each unique client.
About Ashley Coates
Ashley is a Health Coach in Training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). She will take the NBC-HWC exam to become a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach in Summer, 2027. Her mentor is Dr. S. Frochtzwajg in Ventura, California.
Ashley has life-long experience in customer service, outdoor education, curriculum development and project management. She earned an MBA in Small Business/Entrepreneurship from Cal Lutheran University, and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara. Additionally, she earned a UCSB graduate certficate in Project Management . As a child, Ashley was raised a Christian Scientist, then has studied nutrition, health and wellness lifestyles throughout her adult life as a personal passion. Ashley hikes, backpacks, swims, strength trains, enjoys photography and cooking her own food. She is a board member of the Free Will Chamber Orchestra, and co-owner, with her husband, of a long-runnning independent outdoor store. called Real Cheap Sports.
Ashley lives and works in Ventura, California with her husband, daughter, and goldendoodle.
